Hi, I’m Anuke. I’m currently building Sansa, backed by Haystack Ventures and Definition Capital. I’ll be sharing more on what we’re building soon.
Before Sansa, I spent a few years at Dapper Labs as Head of Ventures and Corp Dev, where I launched and led the $725M Flow Ecosystem Fund and invested in companies like LayerZero, EigenLayer, Doppel, MoonPay, Chord Music, and Revelator. I also led the acquisitions of numerous companies and the spin-outs of several others. In practice, my role spanned much of the company, and I worked closely with the founders on everything from raising capital for the business to operations and product, through hypergrowth, the 2022 market fallout, and the end of ZIRP. Resetting the business after that meant taking countless things from zero to one all over again. It was an incredible crash course in building, growing, and navigating the full cycle of a business, and it set me up to start Sansa.
Before Dapper, I was an investment banker and investor at The Raine Group, where I had the honor of working on Epic Games’ billion-dollar-plus capital raises and M&A (Rocket League, Houseparty, Quixel, and more), Fuga’s sale to Downtown Music, and BenevolentAI’s $90 million capital raise from Temasek. I also spent time on the firm’s growth and venture funds, where I was on the deal teams for the investments in Foursquare, Voi, and Parchment, which was subsequently sold to private equity.
I grew up in Sri Lanka and spent a few years in Australia. The first time I ever came to the US was to attend Columbia University, where I studied computer science and math, and I’m so grateful to have landed in a city as incredible and dynamic as New York. I’ve been in NYC ever since, the last four years in Williamsburg.
I love building great products that delight people, and I love learning. Reach me by email or on LinkedIn.
